All you have to do is to add a key to the registry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To do so, Right click on the four blue tiles and select <strong>Terminal (Admin)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"258\" height=\"633\" src=\"https:\/\/landrocks.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/xx-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-107\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, run the command<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code><strong>reg.exe add \"HKCU\\Software\\Classes\\CLSID\\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\\InprocServer32\" \/f \/ve<\/strong><\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1073\" height=\"128\" src=\"https:\/\/landrocks.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/xx-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-108\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After rebooting the Computer or restarting Explorer via Task Manager, you will have the &#8220;old&#8221; behaviour back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s lovely. However, you sometimes have junk in the right-click context menu that is unwanted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, I use the Image Viewer &#8220;IrfanView&#8221; but I do not like the fact that it added an entry to the context menu:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"275\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/landrocks.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/xx-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-109\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is how to edit\/remove unwanted items from the context menu:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right click on the four blue tiles and select <strong>Terminal (Admin)<\/strong>, then type <strong>regedit<\/strong> and press &lt;Enter&gt;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select &#8220;Edit\/Find&#8221; and look for &#8220;IrfanView&#8221;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"395\" height=\"193\" src=\"https:\/\/landrocks.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/xx-6.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-110\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now keep pressing &lt;F3&gt; until this\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"833\" height=\"224\" src=\"https:\/\/landrocks.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/xx-7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-111\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>and this\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"320\" src=\"https:\/\/landrocks.world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/xx-8.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-112\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230; showed up.
